“Green, Wild Elderflower”
Inspired by the works of Agnieszka Osiecka

Sneak peek at the rehearsals here!

"Szalony Zielony Bez" is a musical about a woman from Warsaw who, in search of freedom and her dreams, embarks on an adventurous journey into the unknown. Her colourful story unfolds between the realities of the capitalist West and the grey, yet humorous, communist Poland.

The performance blends iconic songs by Agnieszka Osiecka with fragments from her diaries, interviews and anecdotes from her book The Ugly Forty-Somethings. On stage, you'll hear new interpretations of Polish classics like 'A Lady to Be,' 'There's Nothing Like The Pomp,' and 'At a Turning Point,' among many others.

The performance is in Polish with English surtitles, making it accessible to an international audience.
